Qualifications

• Graduation from a JRCERT-accredited radiography or ARRT-approved MRI degree program.
• Florida Radiologic Technologist License for radiology techs; MRI degree for non-radiology techs or AMRIT registry.
• ARRT certification or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures and produces diagnostic quality MR images.
• Operates MRI scanner and injector safely.
• Maintains knowledge of MR software and MR anatomy/pathophysiology.
• Delivers safe patient care and promotes satisfaction among patients, staff and physicians.
• Participates in orientation and performance-improvement initiatives.
• Performs venipuncture for appropriate exams; may transport non-narcotic meds as directed.
