Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from a JRCERT-accredited or ARRT-approved MRI/Radiography program.
• BLS required; ARRT registration or eligibility.
• Florida radiologic technologist license for radiology techs; MRI degree for non-radiology techs.

Responsibilities

• Performs all MRI procedures and maintains competency with MRI equipment.
• Operates scanner and injector safely to produce diagnostic-quality images.
• Maintains knowledge of MR anatomy and pathophysiology; provides safe patient care.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and staff orientation.
