Job summary

National Staffing Solutions seeks an MRI Technologist to join an outpatient imaging center in Fort Myers. This role welcomes both experienced technologists and new graduates looking to build a MRI career.

You will perform MRI procedures, operate the scanner and injector, and ensure safe patient care under radiologist supervision. The position offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, 5% retirement match, PSLF eligibility, generous PTO, and 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduation from JRCERT Accredited or ARRT approved Radiography or MRI degree program.
• ARRT Registered or eligible.
• Florida Radiologic Technologist License for radiology techs only. MRI degree for non-radiology techs or AMRIT Registry.
• BLS (American Heart Association) Basic Life Support certified.

Responsibilities

• Performs all MRI procedures and maintains a thorough working knowledge of MRI equipment.
• Operates the scanner and injector to produce diagnostic quality MR images.
• Applies knowledge of MR anatomy and pathophysiology to ensure high-quality images under radiologist supervision.
• Provides appropriate and safe patient care.

What the MRI Tech will be doing:

• Performs all MRI procedures and maintains a thorough working knowledge of the operation of all equipment in the MRI area. Safely operates the scanner and injector in order to produce diagnostic quality MR images.
• Understands the computer software of the MR scanners and maintains competency in MR area.
• Consistently applies working knowledge pertaining to MR anatomy and patho-physiology to produce a high standard of quality images while under the direction of a radiologist.
• Provides appropriate and safe patient care.

Qualifications for the MRI Tech:

• Education: Graduation of JRCERT Accredited or ARRT approved Radiography or MRI degree program.
• Experience: No experience required. Radiology or MRI degree graduates accepted.
• Certification: BLS (American Heart Association/Basic Life Support) required.
• License: Florida Radiologic Technologist License for radiology techs only. MRI degree for non-radiology techs or AMRIT Registry.
• Other: ARRT Registered or eligible required.
