Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and provide high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes. The role emphasizes patient-centered care and strict adherence to safety protocols.

The position is part-time (36 hours/week) with varied 12-hour shifts. Candidates should be ARRT/ARMRIT registered, CPR certified, and licensed as Radiologic Technologists in the applicable state, with AMA-accredited radiography training. DailyPay is offered along with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• AMA approved school of radiography is required.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registry in good standing.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Must have training and experience to perform MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate designated MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images.
• Screen patients and verify identity before exams.
• Explain procedures and position patients for optimal imaging.
• Adjust MRI parameters and follow physician orders.
• Maintain patient records in RIS and ensure safety protocols.
• Keep work area clean and equipment disinfected.
• Support MRI department with protocol manual updates and inventory management.
