Job summary

Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo is seeking an MRI Technologist for a part-time role (24 hours/week) on the 3rd shift. Primary duties include operating MRI equipment, providing quality MRI services, and ensuring safety and patient care standards.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in radiologic technology, be registry eligible or certified (MR/ARMRIT), and obtain BLS within six months.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Registry eligible or registered RT MR and/or ARMRIT certification; registration within 6 months of hire.
• BL S certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment for diagnostic purposes and contribute to patient care.
• Provide MRI services in accordance with department policy and patient characteristics.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report issues to supervisor; coordinate with service department.
• Maintain equipment sterility, safety procedures, and cleanliness of the work area.
• Assist in training student technologists and new MRI staff as assigned.
