Job summary

Bronson LakeView Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist for a full-time night shift to operate MRI equipment for diagnostic imaging. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and quality imaging.

You will participate in QA activities and ongoing professional development. Requirements include an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, ARMRIT/RT MR registry eligibility or certification, and BLS within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited school of Radiological Technology.
• Registry eligible or registered RT (MR) and/or ARMRIT certification; registry eligible technologist must receive registration within six months of hire date.
• BLS required within six months of hire date.
• Must be able to operate basic computer programs used for record keeping in the department.
• Must demonstrate excellent human relation skills to interact with patients, physicians and other staff.
• Must demonstrate leadership and organization skills including the ability to work independently within procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment for diagnostic purposes.
• Demonstrates independent judgment and initiative while considering patient age and characteristics.
• Participates in QA activities and staff education.
• Provides MRI services in accordance with policy and procedure.
• Maintains equipment and troubleshoots as needed; reports issues to supervisor.

Education

Associates degree from an accredited school of Radiological Technology

Registry eligible or registered RT (MR) and/or ARMRIT certification

BLS within six months of hire date
