Qualifications

About Corewell Health Trenton Hospital

Corewell Health Hospital Trenton is a 193-bed acute care teaching hospital that sponsors nine university-affiliated residency programs. The hospital opened its doors in 1961 and became part of Corewell Health in September 2014. It provides comprehensive medical and surgical care, private beds, a medical and surgical ICU, and obstetrical care.

Scope of Work

Under general supervision, performs diagnostic MR exams using appropriate imaging equipment and techniques, following established policies and procedures. Follows the Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (JRCERT).
• 1-3 years of clinical experience beyond staff radiographer level.
• Certification by ARRT in Radiologic Technology (RT R) (MR). Additional MR certification required within 1 year of hire. Must remain in good standing with ARRT. Technologists certified before 2008 are exempt from additional modality certification.
• Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
