Job summary

CARIN Alliance in Oklahoma City seeks an MRI Staff Technologist to operate magnetic resonance scanners and produce diagnostic images for physicians.

You will select imaging techniques, manage patient data, transfer images to PACS, and assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. The role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT registration and BLS certification, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of accredited radiologic or MRI program.
  • Clinical experience in radiology or MRI is required.
  • ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT registry preferred; BLS may be required.

  • Select imaging techniques and operate the MRI console and peripheral hardware.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images to PACS, and assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.

Role

MRI Staff Technologist responsible for operating magnetic resonance scanners to produce diagnostic images for physicians.

Responsibilities
  • Select imaging techniques, operate console and peripheral hardware, enter and monitor patient data, transfer images to PACS, and assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technologist Program, and clinical experience.
Certifications
  • Certifications include ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT registry, with advanced registry eligibility within 18 months. BLS certification is required.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Proficiency in IV insertion, medical scanning, cross-sectional anatomy, and 3-D imaging. Ability to manipulate equipment, lift and transport patients, and adapt to stressful situations.
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and advanced MRI registry.
