Live Well Homecare seeks an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners, perform scans, analyze data for diagnosis, and assist licensed practitioners.

You will verify orders, prepare patients, apply imaging protocols, ensure ALARA safety, evaluate image quality, and educate students and healthcare staff.

Qualifications

  • Certification in MRI radiology required or equivalent.
  • Experience in radiologic technology and MRI safety.
  • Specialty training in radiologic technology; bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Obtain correct order, verify patient identity, and prepare for exams while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Apply appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and ensure patient safety following ALARA principles.
  • Prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed, adhering to legal regulations.
  • Evaluate image quality, verify data storage or transfer, and perform post-processing if needed.
  • Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
  • Apply MRI safety principles to minimize risks and assist with interventional procedures.
  • Select pulse sequences based on protocols and data acquisition needs.

Key Responsibilities:
