Job summary

Rosetta Imaging, an affiliate of Northwell Health, seeks a dedicated MRI Technologist for our Rosetta Imaging center in New York. You will perform MRI exams across body regions and assist radiologists during biopsies, focusing on patient safety and high-quality imaging.

The ideal candidate will hold NYS licensure, ARRT MR certification, and BLS; prior radiology experience is preferred. This is a full-time onsite position with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT Registered Technologist (R.T.) required for positions filled after September 5, 2010. ARRT MR registration required within eighteen (18) months.
• Certified in IV Contrast Administration required within six (6) months of entry date into position.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) required within six (6) months of entry date into position.
• Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist, required. Previous MRI experience, preferred.
• Knowledge of MRI equipment and protocols, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI imaging exams including abdomen, thoracic, neurological exams, extremities, and breast.
• Assists Radiologists during Biopsy procedures.
• Screen patients prior to procedures and ensure safety.
• Prepares patients and positions on the exam table within the gantry.
• Performs MRI procedures and general image-guided planning when applicable.
• Recognizes and reports patient complications to Radiologist/Clinician promptly.
• Performs routine calibration checks and minor repairs as needed.
