Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Technologist (RT) and registered in MRI or registry eligible with completing of registry within 12 months by ARRT Radiography or ARMRIT.
• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be valid through sixty days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and orders, schedule, and educate patients about procedures and equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice; monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
• Prepare equipment and supplies; set exposure factors and imaging parameters; perform safety and QC procedures; troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Position patients and perform imaging; analyze results; address image quality issues and report findings.
