Job summary

St. Bernards Healthcare is seeking a Staff Technologist in Radiology to deliver patient imaging services using X-ray, fluoroscopy, CT and ultrasound as needed.

You will perform radiographic procedures, ensure radiation safety and ALARA, and exercise professional judgment in a fast-paced department. The position requires an accredited radiology program graduate, ARRT registration or eligibility, state licensure, CPR certification, and the ability to assist patients physically.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
• ARRT registration or eligibility is required.
• State license or certification or eligible equivalent.
• CPR certification.
• Competency in radiography practice as applicable to the department.
• This is a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Provide imaging services using radiography, fluoroscopy, CT and ultrasound modalities as needed.
• Apply principles of radiation protection and ALARA in daily procedures.
• Exercise professional judgment in the performance of procedures and patient care.
• Perform radiology services on-call as needed to support patient care.
• Maintain good rapport with colleagues and medical staff.
