Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an Imaging Technologist to operate imaging equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images under the supervision of a Radiologist.

You will educate patients on procedures, ensure radiation safety, and accurately enter physician orders into the EMR while maintaining confidentiality and complying with HIPAA guidelines. The role may involve rotating shifts and on-call duties at St. James Hospital.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and Montana licensure/eligibility requirements.
• Ability to access and update patient records in Hospital EMR systems.
• Understanding of radiation safety and infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images as directed by Radiologist.
• Explain imaging procedures and safety measures to patients to reduce anxiety.
• Input physician orders into patient records accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Perform quality assurance activities and participate in radiology quality review.
• May float to other departments within scope of competency and be on-call as needed.
