Job summary

Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, including setup, scanning, and filming, while coordinating with radiologists and physicians.

This full-time role requires certification and licensure upon hire; on-call duties apply, and you will maintain equipment, perform quality control, and support patient families with clear communication.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technologist Training Program.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
• BLS Certification (AHA) upon hire.
• National Registry MRI Technologist or ARRT MRI Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures (setup, scanning, filming).
• Communicate with radiologists, physicians, patients and families.
• Perform contrast injections and quality control tasks.
• Maintain day-to-day schedules and assist radiologists.
• Operate and maintain MR and auxiliary equipment; on-call duties.

This posting is for multiple full time openings at St Peter's Hospital Olympia,WA

This position is responsible for MRI technologist duties at PSPH. Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures, (setting up, scanning and filming). The position also is responsible for communication with radiologists and other physicians, patients and their families, and other persons. Additional responsibilities include performing contrast injections, performing quality control and reporting tasks, maintaining day-to-day schedules, and assisting radiologist. Operates and maintains MR, and auxiliary equipment. On call requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technologist Training Program, Or
• Coursework/Training: MRI Technologist Training Program
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Or
• Upon hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of sub-specialty MRI, Scanning, or Imaging experience.
