Job summary

Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, set up, scan and film studies, and ensure patient comfort throughout exams. The position requires an approved Radiologic Technologist program, MRI training, Washington State licensure, BLS, and ARRT MRI certifications.

On-call responsibilities and a on-going commitment to quality imaging are essential. This role supports physicians and radiologists, maintains equipment, participates in quality

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology.
• MRI technologist training program coursework.
• Washington radiologic technologist license upon hire.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• National MRI certification (ARRT/NRRT) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures, including setup, scanning and filming.
• Communicate with radiologists, physicians, patients and families.
• Perform contrast injections, quality control and reporting tasks.
• Maintain day-to-day schedules and assist radiologists.
• Operate and maintain MR and related equipment; on-call duties as required.

This posting is for multiple full time openings at St Peter's Hospital Olympia, WA

This position is responsible for MRI technologist duties at PSPH. Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures, (setting up, scanning and filming). The position also is responsible for communication with radiologists and other physicians, patients and their families, and other persons. Additional responsibilities include performing contrast injections, performing quality control and reporting tasks, maintaining day-to-day schedules, and assisting radiologist. Operates and maintains MR, and auxiliary equipment. On call requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technologist Training Program, Or
• Coursework/Training: MRI Technologist Training Program
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Or
• Upon hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of sub-specialty MRI, Scanning, or Imaging experience.
