Job summary

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking a Florida-licensed MRI Technologist for a full-time night shift. You will perform MRI procedures with compassion and accuracy, ensuring patient safety and comfort in a Level II Trauma Center.

Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, selecting appropriate factors, handling contrast as ordered, positioning patients, documenting in MEDITECH, coordinating with radiologists, and participating in rotating on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical school training in radiology or related field.
• Valid ARRT registry.
• Active Florida DOH licensure (CRT).
• 1-3 years of MRI experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong organizational, verbal, interpersonal, mathematical, analytical, and computer skills.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of MRI equipment and protocols.
• Obtain high-quality MR images for optimal interpretation.
• Select proper technical factors and techniques; manage contrast if ordered.
• Position patients ensuring modesty and safety, using appropriate equipment.
• Document clinical information in MEDITECH accurately and on time.
• Maintain communication with patient and radiologist.
• Monitor equipment and keep room stocked and clean to prevent contamination.
• Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed.

MRI Technologist
Night shift availability is necessary for this opportunity.

Ourimagingteams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Florida-licensed MRI Technologist on a full-time basis who will perform procedures in a compassionate and respectful manner. Please note our facility is a Level II Trauma Center which requires availability for rotating call assignments.

As an MRI Technologist, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of all MRI (and associated) equipment
• Obtain high-quality MR images assuring only optimal films are submitted for interpretation
• Facilitate the procedure by selecting proper technical factors/techniques to accommodate all patients and select, prepare and administer the appropriate contrast material if ordered
• Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated
• Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time
• Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues to include the radiologist
• Monitor the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with necessary supplies
• Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care

Qualifications

· Vocational/Technical school

· Valid ARRT registry

· Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)

· 1-3 years of experience

· Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

· Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relation, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, computer, and clerical skills are necessary

· Ability to read/comprehend written instructions as well as follow verbal instructions
