Orlando Health ORMC seeks a qualified MRI technologist for night shifts (6pm-6am) Thursday, Friday, and weekend coverage. The role emphasizes MRI safety, image quality, patient positioning, and collaboration with Radiology teams to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology (required).
• Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography (preferred).
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine (preferred).
• MRI technologist program through ARMRIT is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation.
• Adheres to MRI safety principles and quality control standards.
• Operates imaging equipment and adjusts technical factors to obtain high-quality images.
• Maintains patient comfort, safety, and privacy during imaging procedures.
• Ensures accurate documentation of patient history and procedures.
• Positions patient and equipment for optimal imaging results.
• Assesses images for technical quality and proper annotation.
• Supervises students and trains new technologists as needed.
