Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an MRI Technologist for night shift coverage in the RAD MRI department in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves assisting radiologists, ensuring MR safety, and delivering high-quality imaging services to patients.

You will handle contrast administration, patient positioning, and coordination with the radiology team. The ideal candidate will have ARRT certification, BLS, and at least 6 months of clinical MRI experience, with high school diploma or GED (associates preferred).

Qualifications

• MRI Technologist must perform diagnostic MRI exams under a radiologist.
• MR safety screening for all patients prior to entering Zone 3 or 4.
• ARRT certification and BLS required; license standards as outlined in posting.

Responsibilities

• Practices high quality patient care and safety.
• Operates MRI equipment and administers contrast as required.
• Coordinates with radiologist for MR protocol and patient implants.
• Trains staff and participates in on-call coverage as needed.
• Maintains documentation in EMR and quality control testing.
