Job summary

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking a Florida-licensed MRI Technologist to join our night shift team. You will perform procedures with compassion and maintain high image quality for interpretation.

The role requires rotating call assignments at a Level II Trauma Center. As part of a large healthcare system, you will work with a dedicated imaging team, adhere to MEDITECH documentation, and participate in ongoing quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical school
• Valid ARRT registry
• Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
• 1-3 years of experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relation, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, computer, and clerical skills are necessary
• Ability to read/comprehend written instructions as well as follow verbal instructions

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of all MRI equipment
• Obtain high-quality MR images assuring only optimal films are submitted for interpretation
• Select technical factors/contrast material as ordered and facilitate the procedure
• Prepare, transfer and position patients ensuring modesty and safety
• Document clinical information prior to exam and complete MEDITECH fields accurately
• Maintain communication with patient and radiologist
• Monitor equipment and keep room stocked and clean to prevent contamination
• Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed
