Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency seeks an MRI Technologist I to perform neuro, body, and extremity MRI procedures under radiologist protocols. The role involves patient positioning, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort while capturing high-quality images.

Responsibilities include administering IV contrast, following safety standards, data entry in imaging systems, and coordinating with the radiology team to support operations and safe patient care.

Qualifications

• ARRT/NMTCB/ARMRIT or equivalent certification on hire.
• Radiologic Technology program graduate; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of MRI procedures, safety protocols, and imaging systems.
• Ability to identify anatomy on images and perform QC tests.
• Strong communication and attention to safety and detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging following radiologist protocols (neuro, body, extremity).
• Prepare and position patients; explain procedures and ensure comfort.
• Administer IV contrast and perform venous access as directed.
• Maintain MRI safety standards and equipment quality control.
• Enter data into imaging systems, process images, and identify anatomy on images.
• Coordinate supply management and report equipment issues or malfunctions.
• Provide radiological support and liaise within the radiology department.

Job description

Role: MRI Technologist I, with potential for advancement based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures such as neuro, body, and extremity MRI following radiologist protocols.
• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and answer questions to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Administer IV contrast and perform venous access as directed.
• Ensure safety standards are met, including MRI environment safety and equipment quality control.
• Enter data into imaging systems, process images, and identify anatomy on images.
• Coordinate supply management and notify team of equipment issues or malfunctions.
• Provide radiological support to physicians and act as a liaison within the radiology department.

Qualifications & Skills

• Certification from ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or equivalent upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology training program; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of MRI procedures, safety protocols, and imaging systems.
• Ability to identify anatomy on images and perform quality control tests.
• Strong communication skills and attention to safety and detail.
