Key Responsibilities

Obtain correct patient information, prepare and position patients, select appropriate imaging protocols, evaluate image quality, and ensure safety principles are followed. May assist with or produce medication administration and MRI interventional procedures. Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, applying MRI safety standards to minimize risks. Ensure proper data handling, archiving, and transfer of images.

Qualifications & Skills

Must hold relevant certification such as ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMRIT upon hire, with new graduates required to obtain certification prior to employment. Knowledge of MRI safety, imaging protocols, and data management is essential. Preferably hold a specialty training in radiologic technology and a related bachelor’s degree.
