Job summary

Akumin is hiring an MRI Technologist for our New Hampshire sites. This full-time role involves performing high-quality MRI procedures in fast-paced outpatient or hospital settings, prioritizing patient safety and image quality.

You will screen patients for MRI safety, adjust scanning parameters, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining efficient workflow. Travel to multiple locations may be required, with a focus on excellent patient experience.

Qualifications

• MRI technologist certification (ARRT MR) or registry-eligible
• Active state licensure (where required)
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to travel to multiple locations as needed
• Strong patient communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans in outpatient or hospital settings according to orders and protocols.
• Ensure patient safety, screen for MRI contraindications, and monitor patients during scans.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and accurate documentation to support throughput and quality.
• Collaborate with radiologists, front desk staff, and referring offices for smooth handoffs.
• Adhere to HIPAA and accreditation requirements and contribute to quality assurance.
