Job summary

Akumin is hiring an MRI Technologist in New Hampshire to join the mobile imaging team or hospital sites. You will perform high-quality MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain efficient workflow in outpatient or hospital settings.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT MRI certification, state licensure, BLS, and strong customer service. You will travel to multiple locations, adapt quickly to site protocols, and collaborate with radiologists and staff.

Qualifications

• Certificate from College or Technical School and ARRT MRI certification or registry-eligible.
• Active state licensure and current BLS certification.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations and work in fast-paced outpatient or hospital settings.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; reliable and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety and explain procedures to reduce anxiety.
• Perform MRI scans according to orders and optimize image quality.
• Maintain on-time patient flow and prepare rooms between patients.
• Document procedures, contrast use, and patient information; ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with radiologists, patient coordinators, and referring offices.
