Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an MRI Technologist for Intermountain Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center. This role performs advanced diagnostic imaging, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, and supports patient care excellence. The role requires ARRT MR and ARMRIT credentials, BLS, and IV competency within 30 days. ABachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification required.
• ARMRIT certification required.
• ARRT R cross-trained in MRI.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity, review orders, and prepare patients for MRI.
• Perform MRI examinations according to department protocols while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality care.
• Operate MRI equipment and related information systems while maintaining accurate patient documentation.
• Follow MRI safety guidelines, infection prevention practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with radiologists, providers, caregivers, and support staff to deliver excellent patient care.
• Assist with training and mentoring students and team members as needed.
