Job summary

The MRI Technologist position at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY is a part-time, on-site role focusing on a broad range of MRI exams including interventional procedures, with a strong emphasis on MR safety and patient care.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences, ARRT MRI certification, and NYS licensure with injection endorsement. New grads are welcome; expected shifts include days/nights; onsite coverage across Cayuga campuses.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences completed.
• ARRT MRI certification required.
• NY State license with injection endorsement required.
• Two years’ experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams with emphasis on safety and image quality.
• Interventional MRI procedures as assigned.
• Document patient history, contrast details, and IV information.
• Monitor inventories and maintain equipment readiness.
