Job summary

Cayuga Health is seeking an MRI Technologist for a full-time role at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca. The technician will perform MRI exams, including Interventional MRI, with a strong emphasis on MR safety and patient-focused service.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent.
• ARRT MRI certification required.
• NYS license with enhanced license for injection by end of introductory period.
• Two years of MRI experience preferred, new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of MRI exams including Interventional MRI.
• Maintain MR safety for staff and patients and ensure high-quality imaging.
• Follow imaging protocols, document patient history, contrast information, and IV data.
• Monitor stock levels and manage ordering for MR department.
