Job Juncture is assisting an Ithaca, NY medical center in hiring an MRI technologist for full-time, on-site work. The role involves performing MRI exams, ensuring safety, documentation, and departmental support.

The ideal candidate holds an Associates degree in Radiologic Sciences, ARRT MRI certification, NYS licensure with injection eligibility by the end of the introductory period, and two years of experience (new graduates welcome). Competitive pay plus benefits.

Formación

• Associates degree in Radiologic Sciences (ARRT MRI certification preferred).
• ARRT credentials for Diagnostic Imaging and NYS license; enhanced NYS license for injection required by end of introductory period.
• Two years' experience preferred; new graduates welcomed.

Responsabilidades

• Complete MRI exams including patient history, tech info, contrast info, and IV injection data; file paperwork.
• Follow MRI safety policies for staff and patients.
• Label syringes with date, time, contrast, and initials; follow ISTAT procedures per site.
• Set acquisition factors for optimal image quality; evaluate images and follow physician instructions.
• Assess stock levels and enter stock/pantry orders in the computer system.
