Job summary

Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY, seeks a part-time MRI Technologist to perform MR exams including interventional procedures. You will ensure MR safety, assist with patient prep, and document contrast and IV information, while coordinating with physicians for optimal image quality.

The role requires ARRT MRI certification, an associate degree in Radiologic Sciences, and NYS licensing with injection privileges by the end of the introductory period. Onsite across Cayuga Health campuses.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent.
• ARRT Certification in MRI.
• NYS license with enhanced license for injection by end of introductory period.
• Preference for 2 years MRI experience; new grads welcome.
• Must follow MR safety policies and demonstrate attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams including Interventional MRI and ensure MR safety.
• Label and document patient history, contrast, and IV injection details.
• Follow physician instructions and optimize image quality.
• Manage stock and supply orders for the MR department.
