Job Summary

Works under minimal supervision with the physicians to perform MRI imaging exams, exam protocols, accreditation, operations, and facilitation of equipment maintenance.

Required Experience and Education

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) by first day of employment
• ARRT-MR (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or ARMRIT upon hire

Preferred

• Two years of MRI experience

Shift:

Sat-Tue, 7AM-5:30PM

Job Duties

• Review physician orders, screen patients for MRI appropriateness, discuss findings, and document changes.
• Interview patients, conduct screening, explain procedures, and assist during exams.
• Perform procedures accurately, administer contrast, and observe for adverse reactions.
• Ensure safety protocols, assist patients, and communicate effectively.
• Perform QC testing, maintain data, and participate in accreditation standards.
• Conduct post-processing, respond to inquiries, and participate in training.
• Collaborate with team members, prioritize exams, and adhere to policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and perform other duties as assigned.
