Position: Radiologic/X-Ray Technologist, $10K Sign-On Bonus

Experience and Education

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT (R) required
• Licensed by Texas Medical Board (TMB) as a Medical Radiologic Technologist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC, required by first day
• Associates degree in Radiologic Sciences or graduation from AMA-approved school

Shift

Monday or Friday, 7AM-8:30PM; Saturday-Sunday, 7AM-9PM

Job Duties

1. Review physician orders for accuracy and appropriateness, communicate with radiologists about urgent findings, and document changes.
2. Interview patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort, including screening for adverse reactions.
3. Assist physicians during diagnostic procedures, ensure proper documentation, and perform procedures accurately.
4. Complete exam charges and documentation, ensuring radiation safety and patient well-being.
5. Perform QC testing and report system issues, maintaining safety and compliance.
6. Respond professionally to inquiries, participate in emergency codes, and communicate shift handoffs effectively.
7. Contribute to training and orientation of new staff and students, collaborating within an interdisciplinary team.
8. Prioritize exams, coordinate scheduling, and adhere to policies, regulations, and safety standards.
9. Maintain patient confidentiality and security of all workstations.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
