Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• ARRT MRI certification required or to be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• 1-3 years of related experience in diagnostic radiology or MRI.

Responsibilities

• Follows departmental guidelines and protocols in performance of MRI procedures.
• Schedules and documents exams and maintains complete records relative to examinations performed.
• Performs quality control on all MRI equipment according to standard procedures.
• Greets patients with appropriate title; provides education relevant to the exam and a complete medical record to Radiologist.
• Prepares and administers all contrast material as appropriate.
