RadNet San Gabriel Valley is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced clinical environment. You will adjust MR parameters, administer contrast when needed, and guide patients through the imaging process with clear explanations.

The role requires strong communication with physicians and a commitment to patient-centric care. Qualified candidates will hold ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, a state license where applicable, BLS

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required where applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and adjust MR parameters (TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view) to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam process with clear, reassuring communication.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and health information on site.
• Safeguard on-site medications according to policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities in all interactions.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
