Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking an MRI Technologist (Harmonized) for Harbour View Medical Center in a hospital setting. The role involves operating the MRI system, selecting sequences, and ensuring patient safety while obtaining high-quality images as directed by radiologists.

The position requires ARRT MRI registry or ARMRIT eligibility, BLS, and hospital experience. Training and onboarding of new staff, plus participation in performance-improvement initiatives, are part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Active MRI tech role with hospital experience preferred.
• ARRT MRI registry or ARMRIT certification required.
• State licensure preferred where applicable.
• BLS certification required or obtained on hire in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI system and coils to capture diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging.
• Explain procedures and obtain history and consent when applicable.
• Assist in training and onboarding of students and new staff.
• Maintain QC and participate in QA audits.
