Job summary

Bon Secours' Memorial Regional Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI exams, train staff, and support quality initiatives. You will operate MRI hardware, ensure patient safety, and administer contrast as part of standardized protocols.

The role requires MRI registry (ARRT/ARMRIT) and BLS, with travel and collaboration across the radiology team. 36 hours weekly, days/afternoons, at Memorial facility in Virginia.

Qualifications

• MRI Registry from ARRT/ARMRIT is required or equivalent.
• ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology with RDMS or similar is acceptable per posting.
• BLS from American Heart Association is required at hire or prior to patient care.
• Knowledge of EPIC EHR and PACS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the MRI system and coils per protocol and physician request.
• Ensure patient safety, positioning, and comfort during exams.
• Administer contrast and perform IV injections per procedure.
• Train and onboard MRI students and new staff.
• Assist in QA and performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with radiology team and other departments.
