New York Imaging (NYI) is seeking an MRI Technologist to support diagnostic imaging in New Hyde Park, NY. Join a collaborative team of radiologists and technologists dedicated to high-quality care and patient comfort.

The role requires an Associate Degree, current state license, CPR, and at least one year of MRI experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to assist a diverse patient base.

Qualificações

• Associate Degree required.
• Current state license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of one year MRI experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and adjust imaging equipment.
• Calibrate MRI consoles and peripheral hardware.
• Operate injectors with proficiency.
• Ensure patient safety using aseptic techniques and pre-screening.
• Address patient concerns throughout the procedure.
• Flush IV lines post-contrast injection.
• Follow physician orders for imaging areas.
• Prepare patients for procedures and review medical history.
• Shield exposed areas during imaging.
• Attach monitoring leads as necessary.
• Provide headphones for patient comfort.
• Position patients for imaging.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
