Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment, ensure patient safety, and capture high-quality images for accurate diagnoses at St. Elizabeth Hospital.

You will verify safety through pre-screening, maintain PACS records, and support department workflows while mentoring staff and upholding safety standards. WA licensing and ARRT/RTMR credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology - upon hire
• Active ARRT RTR certification - upon hire
• Active RTMR certification - upon hire
• WA Medical Radiographer license - upon hire
• BLS CPR certification - upon hire
• Strong MRI safety knowledge and patient care standards

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for imaging tests as ordered and per protocols
• Perform MRI procedures and position patients
• Maintain records and logs as required by protocols and licensure
• Assist with general office duties: answering calls, scheduling, filing, and ordering supplies
