Intermountain Health is seeking an Imaging Technologist to operate imaging equipment and produce diagnostic-quality images under Radiologist direction. The role emphasizes patient care, safety, record updates in EMR, and adherence to ARRT standards.

Responsibilities include positioning patients, monitoring during procedures, and participating in quality assurance. This full-time position at St James Hospital may require on-call and occasional cross-department work.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma from a 2-year college or tech school.
• ARRT certification/eligibility within 18 months of hire.
• Current Montana licensure as required.
• Ability to read, interpret scientific/technical journals and communicate clearly.

Responsabilités

• Educates and explains imaging and safety procedures to patients.
• Positions patient on imaging table and uses immobilization devices as needed.
• Monitors patient during procedures and maintains privacy and safety.
• Performs ongoing quality assurance activities and participates in quality review.
• May float to other departments within scope of competency as needed.
