Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a 2-year radiologic technology program.
• Current Florida State CRT license.
• Current ARRT MRI registry or ARMRIT certification.
• BLS CPR certification and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Verify prescription matches the exam and record all reasons for the study.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation.
• Administer IV contrast when necessary and ordered.
• Position patients and adjust equipment per protocol to obtain optimal views.
• Process MRI images and verify technical quality for diagnostic acceptability.
• Verify patient exam matches the order in PACS and adjust billing codes if needed.
• Stock supplies, perform QC, and handle daily duties as assigned.
