Job summary

Tampa General Hospital in Florida invites an MRI Technologist II to join our Radiology team. Under the direction of a Radiologist, you will perform MRI procedures and ensure high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

Required qualifications include completion of a two-year Radiologic Technologist program, ARRT registration, and BLS certification. Three years of MRI experience are preferred, with registry in a second modality.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Three years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
• BLS from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Registered ARRT.
• MRI Registered and a registry within the second modality of coverage.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures under Radiologist direction with minimal supervision.
• Maintains established policies and procedures.
• Aids other technical specialties within the department as competency allows.
• On-call shifts may be required.
