Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an MRI Technologist II to perform MRI exams under supervision within the Diagnostic Imaging department. You will apply proper protocols, position patients, and ensure safety across diverse patient ages.

The role requires weekend and on-call coverage, with potential rotation across multiple Florida locations. Requirements include ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, 2+ years post-cert MRI experience, and BLS.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• Minimum 2 years MRI technologist experience post-certification.
• BLS certification required.
• High School or GED required.
• Associate degree in MRI or allied health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams and procedures following protocols.
• Follow MRI protocols and positioning guidelines as directed by supervisors.
• Start IVs and administer contrast per department policies.
• Maintain patient safety and MRI-related policies at all times.
• Rotate through multiple locations and work weekends/on-call as needed.
