Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida is seeking an MRI Technologist II to support the Diagnostic Imaging team. Under the MRI Supervisor and Radiologist, you will perform MRI exams and ensure adherence to imaging protocols across patient ages. You may rotate across locations as needed and work weekends/on-call.

Required ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, 2 years MRI experience post-certification, high school diploma, and BLS. Must maintain safety standards and patient comfort throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• High School / GED required.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• Two years’MRI technologist experience post-certification.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all MRI exams and procedures as directed.
• Follow protocols and positioning guidelines under a preceptor.
• Demonstrate knowledge of MRI safety, policies, and coil management.
• Start IVs and administer contrast per department protocols.
• Ensure patient and staff safety and professional judgment during exams.
