Job summary

Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA is hiring an MRI Technologist II for a Full Time, Day Shift. The role performs MRI examinations, maintains safety, and ensures documentation and supply readiness. A 15K sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Ideal candidates hold MRI-related certification (CNMT/ARDMS/ARRT/ARMRIT) and have completed an MRI school or certificate program (preferred). BLS is required. Sentara RMH is a magnet-designated hospital serving the local community.

Qualifications

• Completion of MRI school/MRI certificate program (Preferred).
• Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology (Required).
• CNMT, ARDMS, ARRT, or ARMRIT (Required).
• Must obtain ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within 2 years of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general MRI examinations while maintaining safety integrity of MRI area.
• Maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.
• Explains examination and procedure to patient and completes departmental documentation.
• Provide quality MRI imaging under supervision and protocol standards.
• Review patient records for accuracy and evaluate implants/devices through vendor resources.
• Maintains patient records, reports, and files.
• Acts as liaison with physician and supportive care personnel.
