Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. seeks an experienced MRI Technologist II for OHIC Bayfront Imaging Ctr in St. Petersburg, FL. The role is full-time, with 12-hour shifts over three days.

You will perform high-quality MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and support training of junior staff in a fast-paced imaging center. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years MRI experience, ARRT MRI or ARMRIT certification, and a current BLS certification. Florida licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, Sonography, Nuclear Medicine, or MRI program (ARMRIT).
• Must have ARRT MRI OR ARMRIT OR ARDMS/NMTCB certification.
• Minimum 2 years MRI experience in one or more advanced imaging areas.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic MRI procedures and related imaging to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation.
• Demonstrates professional judgment and maintains a quality care demeanor.
• Position patient and images to ensure high-quality results and proper documentation.
• Complies with all state and federal regulations applicable to each modality and Orlando Health policies.
• Assist in supervision and training of student technologists.
