Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking an MRI Tech II to provide quality patient care while performing diagnostic imaging and related procedures. Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am-3pm with no nights, weekends or holidays.

Location at Heart and Vascular Institute in Orlando, FL, supporting adult and congenital cardiac, breast, and Neuro research MRIs. The role emphasizes MRI safety, patient cooperation, and accurate documentation, with opportunities for growth through Orlando Health career programs and education

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or related MRI training program.
• Must have ARRT MRI certification or ARDMS/NMTCB certification or ARMRIT MRI program completion.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• Florida licensure preferred; header/sub-bullet structure preserved.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy and/or physiology for interpretation and/or intervention.
• Adheres to MRI safety principles for patients, self, and others.
• Positions patient and equipment to obtain high quality images.
• Assists in supervision/training of student technologists.
• Maintains documentation and uses Radiology information systems.
• Complies with all regulations and Orlando Health policies.
