Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year experience in MRI.
  • Medical Radiographer certification in Texas.
  • Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT(R)) and MRI certification (ARRT(MRI)).
  • Basic Life Support - CPR certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality MRI examinations to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.
  • Prepare patients for scans and operate MRI equipment.
  • Ensure patient safety in the magnetic environment and capture detailed images.
  • Screen patients for MR safety prior to procedures.
  • Administer contrast media as directed.

Skills

Expert technical proficiency in MRI

Education

Completion of an accredited Radiology or MRI program
Associates of Science in Allied Health or Radiologic Technology
