Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform routine diagnostic MRI procedures, with growth toward higher complexity. You will assist physicians, uphold MRI standards, and ensure patient safety in a direct patient care role.

Ideal candidates hold BLS and MR credentials (ARMRIT/ARRT family) and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork within the radiology team. This role is on-site in Texas and requires adherence to safety and quality guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body.
• BLS certification required or instructor status.
• Must have one of ARMRIT/ARRT/ARRT-N/ARRT-MR/ARRT-SON/CMRT/CNMT MR credentials.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to moderately complex MRI exams.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and special MRI procedures.
• Adhere to MRI safety standards and patient care guidelines.
• Communicate clearly with patients and care team about procedures.
