Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform a broad range of routine and advanced imaging procedures. The role includes patient screening, QA participation, and ensuring efficient patient flow across shifts and campuses as needed.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT/ARMRIT MRI certification within 1 year of hire, basic computer skills, and BLS. State licensure may apply for NM, with strong patient care and collaboration being essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Basic computer experience required.
• ARRT or ARMRIT MR certification within 1 year of hire.
• State licensure required if in New Mexico (MRT by MIRTP NMED).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI examinations and supports imaging procedures to aid patient throughput.
• Ensures completed exams are stored correctly in PACS and troubleshoots issues as needed.
• Collaborates with radiologists, physicians and staff to provide high-quality imaging services.
• Reports equipment malfunctions to the Director/Manager and follows up as required.
