Job Summary And Qualifications

• Adapt techniques to patient age groups, respecting cultural and spiritual needs.
• Position and prepare patients for exams.
• Perform procedures and monitor patients, responding to needs.
• Complete documentation for each study.
• Perform computer and PACS functions.
• Follow safety and aseptic protocols.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Universal protocols.
• Use judgment and critical thinking during procedures.
• Participate in training and instruct students.
• Maintain knowledge of scanners and protocols for quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
• Vocational School Graduate.
• Certification in MRI (ARRT or equivalent).
