Job Summary and Qualifications

• Adapt techniques to patients of all ages, respecting cultural and spiritual needs.
• Position and prepare patients for exams.
• Perform procedures, assess patients, and respond to needs.
• Complete documentation for each study.
• Operate PACS and computer functions.
• Follow safety and aseptic protocols.
• Understand Universal protocols.
• Use professional judgment and critical thinking.
• Participate in training and instruct students.
• Operate radiation equipment in various environments, including fluoroscopy, OR, emergency, portable exams.
• Perform advanced procedures in mammography, dexa, fluoroscopy, pediatric fluoroscopy, hybrid-OR, mobile CT, robotic spine, and advanced orthopedics.
• Perform computed radiography functions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications required:

• Current ARRT registry.
• Current advanced CT registry.
• Radiologic Technologist certification by Kansas within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
