Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an MRI Technologist II to operate MRI equipment at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst, IL. The role is full-time, 40 hours weekly with rotating mid-to-evening shifts, on-call duties, and weekend/holiday rotations.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, an associate degree or higher, CPR (BLS), and preferably Illinois licensure (IEMA). Prior MRI experience and strong computer skills are desirable. A sign-on bonus is offered.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images per radiologist directions.
• Positions patients, administers contrast, and optimizes image quality.
• Provides excellent customer service and explains procedures to patients.

Hourly Pay Range: $35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: SIGN-ON BONUS: $10,000 Position: MRI Technologist II Location: Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, Elmhurst, IL Full-Time, 40 hours weekly Hours: Monday - Friday, rotating mid to evening shifts, on-call schedule, rotating weekends & holidays

What you will do:

• Operates MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures.
• Positions patients, administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high-quality exam.
• Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice.
• Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.

What you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED Preferred: A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or higher Required: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT (American Registry of MRI Technologists) certified Preferred: IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association Preferred: Prior MRI experience or other radiology experience Strong computer skills Ability to troubleshoot problems as related to the software
